Carolyn Ann (Bridges) Long

Carolyn Ann (Bridges) Long, 78, of Ash Grove passed away Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026. She was born on Nov. 5, 1947, in Mt. Vernon, to Allen and Anna Lee (Owens) Bridges. On March 25, 1966, Caroyln and James Long were united in marriage and shared over 58 years together, before James’ passing in 2024.
She is survived by her children, Tim Long, Dan Long and wife Karla; eight grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Anna Bridges; husband James Long; son Mark Long; and siblings, Grace Jenkins and Gene Bridges.
Private burial was held at Ash Grove Cemetery.
