Karen Gold-Ernst

Karen Gold-Ernst passed away on Aug.9, 2026, at the age of 69.
 
She was born in Peoria, Ill. on April 29, 1957, to Bill and Anna Lee Gold. 
She found her calling while volunteering with Wonders of Wildlife. While courageously battling cancer, she worried about her animals.
She is survived by her husband, David Ernst; brother-in-law, Ed Ernst; stepchildren, Jessica and Dustin Gifford, stepson, Max Ernst; several grandkids; sister, Debbie Hawthorne; brother, Bill Gold and his wife, Rita;
