Kenneth Wayne Termin

Kenneth Wayne Termin, 90, of Springfield passed away on May 21, 2026. Born on April 14, 1936, in Aldrich, he attended school in Morrisville and played on the baseball team. He earned his high school diploma through the “American School” High School Course on March 11, 1955.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, he served with distinction as a Squadron Air Cargo Specialist, achieving the rank of Technical Sergeant (TSGT), E-6. He served on active duty until March 21, 1963, and continued in the reserves, retiring after 20 years of honorable service to his country.
He worked for 25 years at Zenith Television in Springfield. Faith was central to his journey; he was saved as a child and became a founding member of First Baptist Battlefield.
He shared 61 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife Nellie. Though she preceded him in death, he continued to honor her memory with enduring love.
He is survived by his three children: daughters Carrie Termin Munson and Suzanne Termin Blackburn; son John Termin; one son-in-law; one daughter-in-law; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his father, Johnnie Termin, mother Louella Strader Termin and his sister, Janice Termin Heffernon.
A visitation was held on May 29, 2026, at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, 2001 W. Walnut Lawn St., Springfield. A graveside service followed at Missouri National Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Rd., Springfield.
