Louella Mae Calton

Louella Mae Calton, 88, of Aurora passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at her home. She was born July 8, 1937, in Monett, the daughter of Samuel and Gertie (Smith) Aldridge.
She was a 1955 graduate of Monett High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Aurora. On Nov. 6, 1954, she married Robert Neil Calton in Monett. They celebrated 60 years of marriage before his passing on March 24, 2014.
She is survived by three daughters, Rhonda (Mark) McManus of Aurora, Donna Breidenstein of Aurora, and Radella (Robert) Long of Halltown; two sons, Rick (Brenda) Calton of Republic, and Dale (Rhonda) Calton of Ozark, one sister, Juanita (Wayne) Gold of Marionville, and one brother, J.H. (Arlene) Aldridge of Monett, 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren.
Calton was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Gertie Aldridge; her husband, Bob Calton; her son, Roger Calton; son-in-law, Terry Breidenstein; brother, Lanny Aldridge and grandson, Andrew Calton.
A funeral service under the direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora was held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the First Baptist Church in Aurora. Burial followed at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora. Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
