Pauline K. Strope

Pauline K. Strope 86, of Springfield-formally Jefferson City, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026. She was born Feb. 18, 1940, in Jefferson City, to George and Margaret (Scheppers) Maasen. On April 1, 1967, She was united to Leander Strope in marriage and shared over 35 years together, before his passing in 2003. 

She is survived by her children, Rick Strope and wife Tiffaney, Jeff Strope, Joyce Weatherford and husband Lonnie, Jennifer Sharp and husband Randy, Randy Strope and wife Hannah; 8 grandchildren; siblings, Celine, Teresa, Vicki, Beeb, Harold.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Margaret Maasen; husband Lee Strope; grandson, Brandon Sharp; and siblings, Ben, Barb, and Helen; daughter-in-law, Vicki Strope.
