Pam Mahaffey

Pam Mahaffey, 72, of Ash Grove passed away Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025. She was born on Nov. 30, 1953, in Davenport, Iowa. On Nov. 1, 1986, she and Edward Mahaffey were united in marriage and shared over 36 years together before Ed’s passing in 2023.
She was one of the first women in the United States Coast Guard and served during Vietnam. She also was a volunteer with the Willard Fire Protection District for many years.
She is survived by her children, Chris Lecompte and wife Pam, Beth Wilson and husband Aaron; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; mother Dee Jones; siblings, Vicki Metzger and husband Bruce, DiAnne Smith and husband David, Kris Hoffmeister and husband Jerry; sister-in-law Pam Eley; nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ed Mahaffey; father Ramon Duncan; and grandson Tyler.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10, at New Life Baptist Church in Willard.
