Mark F. Lowe

Mark F. Lowe, passed away on April 1, 2026, in Melbourne Fla. at the age of 66. He was born Dec.  23, 1959, in Ft. Sill, Okla to his parents, the late Thomas A. Lowe and Kathleen B. Lowe. 

Lowe dedicated over 30 years to a law enforcement career, culminating in his retirement as Police Chief at the Republic (Missouri) Police Department in January 2015. 

After retirement, he became an instructor at Eastern Florida State College. For the last 10 years, he shared his knowledge, wisdom and numerous experiences to instruct the future generation of law enforcement officers. With a patient heart and a sharp wit, he turned even the toughest subjects into memorable experiences.

Lowe is survived by his wife, Virginia Lynn Roserio Lowe. He was predeceased by his brother, Thomas M. Lowe. 

A celebration of life will be held from 2-4 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2026, at Eastern Florida State College, Melbourne campus, Bldg. 8, Room 233, 3865 North Wickham Rd. Melbourne, Fla.
