Betty Mae Hicks

Full of fire and determination, Betty was born Betty Mae Hicks on Oct. 3, 1932, to Carl Edward Hicks and Nellie Mae Goforth Hicks with 10 brothers and sisters.

She married William Leon DeRossett and bore William Lenard DeRossett, Sarah ReVae Bears, and David Lee DeRossett.

Widowed in 1971, she later joined in matrimony Jim Benton Hall.

She had five grandchildren Randy DeRossett wife Elizabeth, of Elkland, Kathy McRee husband Danny, of Willard, Monica Bears, Justin Bears, Nathan and wife Sarah Bears of Ft. Worth, Texas.

She also had six great-grandchildren. 

She retired from Marion C. Early schools and was a devoted member of Morrisville Assembly of God.

Her care has been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
