Steve Paul Lampley

Steve Paul Lampley was born on Feb. 24, 1966. He was a devoted husband, father, and family man whose greatest joy in life was spending time with those he loved. An avid outdoorsman, he had a deep appreciation for nature and found true happiness in hunting, fishing and camping. Whether he was deep in the woods, out on the water, or sitting around a campfire sharing stories with friends, the outdoors was where he felt most at home.

He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Kathy, and their three children: William, Rachel and Hailey. His family truly appreciates all the love, support, and kindness that has been shown to them, not only during this difficult time but throughout his courageous six-year journey. His legacy will live on through the lasting memories shared by all of those who knew and loved him.

An informal gathering and brief service was from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026, The service began at 2 p.m. at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home (500 E. Walnut Street, Springfield, Missouri).
