Terry Lee Hill

Terry Lee Hill, 78, of Republic passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2026, surrounded by family, following a sudden and aggressive cancer diagnosis.
He was born on Feb. 7, 1948, to Carl and Mona Hill of Buffalo, he was the youngest of their four boys. After graduating from Fair Grove High School, he honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Upon returning home, he continued his education and graduated from Drury University. He went on to build a highly successful career in distribution and logistics, where he was also known for mentoring others and helping them achieve their professional goals.
Outside of his career and after retiring, took pleasure in gardening and tending to his chickens. However, his absolute favorite pastime was spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his children, Carla, and Eric (Kim); his six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and was eagerly anticipating the birth of his newest great-grandson, due this November. He also leaves behind a close-knit brotherhood of friends whom he truly considered to be his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his three brothers, and his faithful dog and companion, Duke.
