Fire claims Ash Grove home

No one was home when a blaze at the residence of Heather Spencer claimed the structure at 130 W. Moonlight Valley Drive, Ash Grove the late afternoon of Wednesday, Aug. 26. 
Ash Grove Police Chief Joe Mahan said a passerby noticed smoke and called in the emergency.
Shortly after the fire, the source of the fire remained unknown as the fire investigator had yet to arrive, but Mahan confirmed the house was a total loss. 
Multiple fire departments answered the call including Ash Grove, Battlefield, Bois D’Arc, Brookline, Ebenezer, Everton, Halltown, Dadeville, Willard and Walnut Grove. Also, covering the emergency were Ash Grove and Walnut Grove police departments.  (Photo by Ryan Squibb)
