ANNE MARIE LUCE

Anne Marie Luce, 84, of Clever passed away on July 20, 2024. She was born in Gorey, Ireland on May 14, 1940, to Michael Joseph Waddock and Margaret “Peg” Josephine (Murphy) Waddock; one of five children in the home.
She graduated from high school in England and moved to the U.S. in the 1960s. She graduated from Lincoln University in Jefferson City, with a bachelor’s of science degree in nursing and worked as a registered nurse with the state of Missouri for 25 years inspecting nursing homes until her retirement.
She married Jay Luce on March 11, 1994, and they shared 30 years together.
She is survived by her husband Jay; children: Rowena Gee, Wayne “Rusty” Gee and Michael (Leslie) Moore; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; stepdaughter, Pamela Teaver and her children; as well as other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, John and Edward “Ned” Waddock.
Services were held on Saturday, July 27, at Meadors Funeral Home in Clever. Burial followed at Delaware Township Cemetery in Nixa.
