Ash Grove Board of Aldermen Ward 1

The following candidates are running for Ash Grove Board of Aldermen Ward 1

Name: Jerry Kane
Age: 67
Occupation: Sales representative for LKQ Heavy Truck
Why should someone vote for you?
I have been representing the citizens of ward one for over 10 years, I have made sure that the citizens’ money is spent wisely, both through the recession and the pandemic. I have no hidden agendas and always try to balance the citizens needs with the financial ability of the city. We still need to do more infrastructure improvements over the next few years to ensure we have a great place to live. I have the knowledge and experience to help get these projects done. We have made a lot of improvements over the last few years with new sidewalks, park improvements, new water system, and recycling center. We need to continue to do more as the city grows and adds population and businesses. Those who know me know that I always put 100% of my effort in anything I do. I have years of experience.

Why should someone vote for you?
I think people should vote for me because I would bring diversity to the current council. I am an Ash Grove native and I have a heart for this town. I want to see it thrive in every way possible, and I would do my best to help make that happen.
