Ash Grove Carriage House almost open after remodel

Bicyclists get city-owned option for overnight stay
Bicyclists through Ash Grove will soon have another overnight option in the town’s Carriage House, located on Main Street downtown. After some concern regarding overnighters at the Ash Grove City Park, the city undertook the remodel of the old building which will soon be available for overnight stay with a price to still be determined. By the end of this week, interior construction—which includes six beds, a bathroom, shower and air conditioning—should be complete.
Shooting for an available date in early September, Ash Grove Mayor Caleb Smith said it will be a much better option for bicyclists and will even include a bike station for riders to work on their machines.
Parties interested in reserving the space should contact Ash Grove City Hall, and will be given a pass code for the door.
