Beverly S. McCowan

Beverly S. McCowan, 67, of Springfield, passed away Friday, Feb. 14, 2020. She was born Nov.1, 1952 in Springfield, to Albert and Ida Mae (Pridgen) Herbert. On April 5, 2008, Beverly and Kim McCowan were united in marriage and shared over 11 years together.
McCowan enjoyed watching scary movies, music, entertaining, and celebrating the holidays. She was devoted to her family.
McCowan is survived by her husband, Kim McCowan of the home; children Eric Jameson and wife Laura, Brian Jameson and wife Brandy, Chad Jameson and wife Christina; step-children Scott McCowan and wife Renee, Justin McCowan and wife Clarisse, Kody McCowan and wife Katie; eight grandchildren; 11 step grandchildren; step mother, Linda Herbert; brothers, Kenny Herbert, Keith Herbert and partner Bryen Reed; sister, Cathy Hill and husband Stephen; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
McCowan is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ida Mae Herbert; and son, Kevin E. Jameson.
Visitation was Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020 from 5-8 p.m. at Willard First Baptist Church, Willard. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020 at 11 a.m., at the church, with burial to follow at White Chapel Cemetery.
