Bois D'Arc loses another home to fire

No injuries were reported from a fire that burned down the majority of a house last week in Bois D’Arc. The Commercial Street residence, northeast of the railroad track crossing, owned by Ronnie Ryker, caught fire in the early morning hours of Oct. 9. Although inhabitants were home when the fire began, everyone made it outside without harm. An investigation to determine the cause is underway. Answering the call, were firefighters from Ash Grove, Bois D’Arc, Brookline, West Republic and Willard. This is the second house fire in the small town in the last two months; the last claiming a house on Robinson Street, Aug. 10.
