CHARLES DAVID ROBERTS

Charles David Roberts passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024. He was born on Dec. 19, 1949, to Wayne and Hazel Roberts.
He was a longtime resident of Ash Grove and graduated from Ash Grove High School in 1967.
He married Sherry Small and they enjoyed 44 years of marriage. He served in the National Guard from 1968-1974 as an E-5. He was employed with City Utilities for 32 years as a serviceman, then promoted to second in charge of the gas department, before retiring. He was also a member of the Ash Grove Masonic Lodge #100.
He is survived by one son, Jason Roberts; one grandson, Chandler Roberts; niece, Kathy Lawver; and nephew, Scott Sayler.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Bonnie Sayler; and wife, Sherry Roberts.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, at Sinking Creek Cemetery in Everton.
