DONNA SUE DAVIS

Donna Sue Davis, 84, of Springfield passed away on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2024. She was born on May 26, 1940, in Garden City, Kan. to Cecil and Ilene (Farmer) Gomez.
On Sept. 9, 1961, she married Jerry Davis and they shared over 57 years together before his passing in 2018.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Davis; son, Steven Davis; three grandchildren and their spouses; five great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Ann Neal; brother, Robert Gomez; beloved furry friend, Chester; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry; daughter-in-law, Tracy Davis; and brother, Roger Gomez.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time on Friday, Aug. 16, at Bois D’ Arc United Methodist Church. Memorial services will begin at 2 p.m. at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home in Ash Grove.
