Floyd named next Bois D’Arc Elementary School principal

Ash Grove alumnus and longtime educator Alicia Floyd has been named the next principal of Bois D’Arc Elementary School. The move was made official—two weeks before the start of the school year—during a closed session meeting Monday, Aug. 5, by the Ash Grove Board of Education. Floyd, a teacher within the district, has administrative experience and is a highly respected district employee.
Floyd will be replacing Dr. Karie Julian who took employment with the Nixa School District after eight years at Bois D’Arc.
