According to a press release from the GCSO’s, the girl reported that she was playing in the backyard of her house on Maple Street, Ash Grove, when a man grabbed her and tried to take her to a nearby truck. The girl stated she was able to break free from the man and get away.
The man is described as a white male, 5’11”, weighing 200 pounds, and wearing black clothing and black and white shoes. The girl also said there were two other people in the truck: a man she described as having “black hair, no facial and wearing a black coat,” and “a female with hair past her shoulders.”
The truck is described as a “newer, unknown brand, black truck with stock wheels with scratches around the wheels.”
The GCSO stated that they and the Ash Grove Police Department checked for evidence in the area utilizing a K9 and checked for video surveillance at nearby residences and businesses but found no additional sightings of the vehicle or suspects.
