JACOB “JAKE” WINTERS

Jacob “Jake” Winters, 37, of Republic passed away on Friday, Nov. 3, 2023, at his home after a brief illness. He was born on Oct. 8, 1986, to Tim and Brenda (West) Winters in Springfield.
He graduated from Republic High School with the class of 2005. After graduation he began working for the family business, NuWay Insulation, as an installer, with his dad for many years. He then worked for Chase in Springfield for several years. He was currently working for Baker Mechanical Services, Inc. in Willard, as an HVAC technician. He was an avid outdoorsman, always with his best four-legged buddy, Bentley, by his side.
He is survived by his parents; Bentley, his amazing sidekick in life, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
A visitation and funeral services were held on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic with burial at Lindsey Cemetery.
