JOAN MARY (WHITE) WRIGHT

Joan Mary (White) Wright, 88, of Billings passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, on July 29. She was born in Clintonville, N.Y. on March 4, 1935, to Alfie and Bessie (Parish) White, one of eight children in the home.
She married David H. Wright in 1969, and they shared 45 wonderful years together, until his passing on July 14, 2014.
In 1979, Joan and her family moved to Billings. She was a lifetime member of American Legion, and she volunteered at Missouri Veterans home in Mt. Vernon. Wright worked as a CNA and a CMA at multiple geriatric centers until her retirement in 2002.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Wirkula of Michigan and Dianna Lewing of Springfield; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren as well as other extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband David, children Darlene Gough, Paul Gough and Pauline Howard.
