LATASHA DAWN PARNELL

Latasha Dawn Parnell, 30, of Miller passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. She was born Jan. 1, 1994, in Springfield; the daughter of Melissa Earnhardt and Robert Beasley.
She was a 2012 graduate of Bailey Alternative Education in Springfield and a 2014 graduate of the OTC Culinary School. She was employed at the Mt. Vernon Veteran’s Home and a member of the Freedom Christian Center.
On Aug. 4, 2019, she married Stewart Parnell in Aurora and they had three children together, Asher, Isabella and Gabriella Parnell.
She is survived by her husband, Stewart; four children: Elijah Earnhardt and Asher, Isabella and Gabriella Parnell; her mother, Melissa Earnhardt and step-father, Danny Rainey of Springfield; father, Robert Beasley and step-mother, Monica of Springfield; three brothers: Chris Earnhardt of Springfield, Trenten Earnhardt of Republic and Devin Earnhardt of Springfield; two aunts, Dianna (Steve) Holt of Strafford and Regina (Gary) Pohto of Springfield; paternal grandmother, Beatrice Webb of Springfield; father and mother-in-law, Joey and Tammy Parnell of Miller; two sisters-in law, Hannah Parnell of Fulton and Misty (Emmanuel) Nkwocha of Mt. Vernon; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Fred and Carol Earnhardt.
A funeral service was held on Friday, June 7, at the Freedom Christian Center under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Burial followed at the Miller Memorial Gardens in Miller.
