MARY ERNESTINE SIFFERMAN

Mary Ernestine Sifferman, 91, of Republic passed away on July 17, 2024. She was born on April 18, 1933, in Branson, Missouri and was raised by her parents Thelma and Carl Plummer.
She married Donald Lew Sifferman on June 20, 1954, and they were married almost 57 years when he passed away on March 14, 2011.
They were faithful members of Calvary Baptist Church in Republic for many years and anyone who attended Calvary during that time would remember them as staples of the church family.
She is survived by three children: Carl (Cathy) Sifferman, Craig Sifferman, and Cathy (Gordon) Rausch; her son-in-law, Wayne McGowan; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald and her daughter, Ceann McGowan.
Visitation is scheduled from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, July 29, at Calvary Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Denny Marr officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Rock Prairie Cemetery in Halltown following the funeral service.
