NORMA J. WAGEMANN

Norma J. Wagemann, 97, of Billings passed away peacefully in her home on June 27, 2024. She was born on Nov. 19, 1926, in Marionville; one of six children born to Charles and Mary (Ebert) Schmidt.
She attended Center School and Billings High School.
After high school she worked at the café in Billings where she met Virgil Wagemann. They married on April 19, 1953, at St. Peter’s Church and spent 52 wonderful years together. Years later, she took a pharmacy position at Andrew’s Family Pharmacy in Republic.
She was very active in her church and played an important role teaching many years of Sunday school, helping with vacation Bible school, singing in the choir, and being part of the Friendship Guild.
She is survived by her daughter Cindy; her sister, Charlene Rumley; along with a host of nieces and nephews all from Billings.
She was preceded in death by her husband Virgil; brothers, Rolland and Fredrick Schmidt; and sisters, Kathleen Rill and Mary Ann Wallace.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, with burial to follow at St. Peter’s Evangelical Cemetery.
