REBA BOROVICKA

Reba Borovicka, 89, of Republic passed away on Oct. 27, 2023. She was born on Oct. 12, 1934, in Cherryvale, Kan. to Kenneth and Maxine (Testerman) Hild, the first born of five children.
She was married to Isaac (Ben) Borovicka on Dec.10, 1954, in Cherryvale, Kan. They were married for over 49 years when he passed away on June 30, 2004.
She is survived by her daughter Sherry (David) Blackwell of Republic; sons, Bruce (Karen) Borovicka of Texas and Brian Borovicka of Springfield; four grandkids; seven great-grandkids; along with a host of many precious nieces, nephews and cousins and her had two very special friends in Miami, Okla.: Georgia Randall and Carolyn Blankenship and four special friends from Republic Nursing and Rehabilitation: Delores, Caroline, Louise, and Beverly.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ben; her parents; her sister, Margaret Bryson; her brothers, Kenneth and Don Hild; an infant sister, Mary Louise Hild; and infant grandson, Chase Borovicka.
Visitation and services were held on Oct. 30, at Meadors Funeral Home. Burial followed at Evergreen Cemetery.
