Republic License Office to expand

Expansion, new computer system on the way for operation in Plaza Southwest

Amber Carnahan, contract license office manager, grips the scissors in preparation for a ribbon cutting at the Republic license office on Nov. 25. The ribbon cutting was to celebrate a new computer system and an expansion to the facility that is to begin soon, though the inside has already seen an aesthetic update. In attendance were multiple state and local officials, including State Representative Bishop Davidson and Trish Vincent, director of the Missouri Department of Revenue. The operation of the office is contracted out to the for-profit branch of the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks.
“I’m really excited to be here,” said Vincent. “If you want to come to an office where you can get things done, it’s right here in Republic.”
