ROBERT WALLES

Robert Walles, 40, formerly of the Crane/Galena area, passed away in New York state on June 2, 2024. He was born on April 1, 1984, to Lloyd and Cheryl (Twilley) Walles; one of six children in the home.
He graduated from Galena High School with the class of 2003.
He worked for Dreamland Amusements for the last several years and would travel up and down the east coast from Florida to Vermont; spending his winters in Florida between carnival seasons.
He is survived by his siblings: Lloyd (Jennifer) Walles Jr., Ronnie (Alicia) Walles, Sherry Walles, Mary (Mark) Harden and David (Tabitha) Walles; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 29, at the Meadors Funeral Home Chapel in Clever. He will be laid to rest privately at Union Ridge Cemetery.
