SHARON EARLENE CARPENTER

Sharon Earlene Carpenter, 70, of Brookline passed away Jan. 5, 2024. She was born on Oct. 20, 1953, to James and Earlene Oberg in St. Louis.
She was a proud mother and wife and enjoyed a career at the USPS where she met her husband.
She married Roger Carpenter on Feb. 18, 1973. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in the 1970’s.
She is survived by the husband, Roger; daughters, Sherry (Wayne) Allen, Sheila (Joel) Johnson and Traci Carpenter; her son, James Carpenter; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her parents and brother, James Ray Oberg.
No services have been planned at this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield.
