WALTER THOMAS GUNN, SR.

Walter Thomas Gunn, Sr., 89, of Marshfield passed away Sunday, May 21.. He was born June 18, 1933, in Abesville, to Eli A. and Clara (Ralston) Gunn.
On Jan. 19, 1979, Walter and Rebecca Parrish were united in marriage and shared over 44 years together. 
Gunn enjoyed working in his workshop. He was a ham radio operator and enjoyed spending time communicating with it.
Gunn was preceded in death by his son, Michael Joe; parents; sister Syble Stewart; and brother Leonard Gunn.  
Gunn is survived by his wife, Rebecca Gunn; sons Walter Thomas Gunn, Jr. and wife Marsha of Moore, Okla., Jim Gunn and wife Julia of Aurora; nephew Lee Stewart and wife Regina of Carthage; mother-in-law Betty Parrish of Ash Grove; sister-in-law Carolyn Kilgore and husband John of Fordland; special niece Patrice Kilgore of Fordland; as well as other family and many friends.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove.
