WILMA FAYE ATKINS DAVIS

Wilma Faye Atkins Davis, 77, of Brookline passed away on Sunday, Feb.23, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. She was born  in Lebanon on July 9, 1947; the daughter of David Jesse Atkins and Wilma Vera (Wilson) Atkins.
She graduated from Lebanon High School in 1965 and Southwest Baptist College in 1969 where she majored in physical education and minored in business. She went on to teach PE and coach girls softball, volleyball, track, and  basketball for the Stoutland and Newburg school districts.
She married Joe Davis on May 4, 1974.
She is survived by her husband, Joe; children, Janet Davis and Sara Jenkins; grandchildren, Nellie Jenkins and William Jenkins; sister; son-in-law; cousins; nieces and nephews and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, at Brookline Cemetery in Brookline.
