Wilma Edna Barrett

Wilma Edna Barrett, 88, of Republic, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 7 p.m. at Mercy Hospital, Springfield. She was born Nov. 11, 1931 in Eudora, Ark., to Wesley and Maddy (Kersh) Smith.
Barrett married Bill Barrett and to this union they were blessed with two children Dennis and JoAnn.
Barrett loved her lord, holidays and spending time with family. She loved to visit and have company in her home, as well as, her love for cooking for others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her daughter, and six siblings.
Survivors include her son Dennis, of Branson: one granddaughter, one great-grandson, three sisters-in- law Margie Watters , Ruthie Smith and Joy Tyson; one god daughter, Jeanie Boatright; nephews, Carl Walghall, Scott Futrell, Nick Smith and Clark Petrochilos, nieces: Pat Faulkner, Lucille White, Frances Freeman, Judy Henderson, Connie Owen, Mary Davis, Nancy Talley, Philemon Petrochilos, Dawn Smith, Ashley Anderson, Carla Smith, Cindy Harris and Juanita.
