Toby D. Williams

Toby D. Williams, 60, of Springfield passed away Oct. 25, 2020. He was the son of Truman and Nancy Williams and was born in Springfield, July 28, 1960. On Jan. 16, 1982, Toby and Linda Finkbiner were united in marriage. They shared over 38 years together.
Williams was a lifelong area resident, a member of the Ash Grove Masonic Lodge. He began working at City Utilities in April of 1980 and retired in September 2019 after 39 years of service.
Williams is survived by his wife, Linda Williams; son, Scott Williams; a grandson; grandmother Goldie Garrison; sister-in-law, Julie Allhands and husband Terry; brother-in- law, Mike Finkbiner; father and mother-in-law, Ralph and Glenna Finkbiner; aunts and uncles; Arlene Williams, Jerry and Barbara Garrison, Ken and Pat Garrison, Henrietta and Rick Drake, Evy and Ken McCroskey; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
Williams is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Scotty Bruce.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Sawyer’s Education Fund and may be left at the funeral home.
Celebration of life visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove.
