Richard Lee Wells

Richard Lee Wells, passed away Dec. 8, 2020 after a long illness. Wells was born on Jan. 27, 1935 to Lewis and Bernice Wells. He was a lifelong resident of the Ash Grove area, graduating from Ash Grove High School in 1953. On June 12, 1954 he and Kay King were united in marriage and were blessed with over 66 years together. On Sept. 17, 1957, their one daughter Rhonda Wells was born. He was an employee of Wilkerson Motor Co. for over 40 years. He was a member of Ash Grove First Christian Church. He is survived by his wife; daughter, Rhonda; aunt, nieces and nephews, cousins and other extended family; Kay's sisters and their families and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters. A private family graveside service was held Jan. 4, 2021 in the Ash Grove Cemetery under direction of Birch Funeral Home, Ash Grove.
