Grady Lightfoot III (Sonny)

Grady Lightfoot III (Sonny) of Clever, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at the age of 50. He was born on Thursday, Feb. 4, 1971 in Springfield, to Grady “Bud” and Jacqueline (Monger) Lightfoot. He was the oldest of two sons in the home.
Lightfoot graduated from Clever High School in 1989. After graduation he began working in the excavating industry. On June 1, 2002 he married Kasey Robertson, and this union was blessed with three children, Victoria, Brayden and Moose. In 2006, he decided to change career paths and he became a barber.
Lightfoot is preceded in death by his father, Grady Lightfoot, Jr., his brother, Dallas Lightfoot, grandmother’s, Betty Monger and Lille S. “Smitty” Ford, grandfather, Jack Monger and an uncle, Mike Lile.
He is survived by his wife Kasey, children, Victoria, Brayden and Matthew “Moose” and his mother, Jackie Lightfoot, as well as other extended family and countless friends.
A visitation is scheduled for 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, at Meadors Funeral Home in Clever. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 15, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Clever.
