Ash Grove sidewalk construction begins

The Missouri Department of Transportation is building ADA-compliant sidewalks in Ash Grove. The construction is taking place on Highway 160 between Chandler Avenue and Route V, and northward on Route V from 160 to about a city-block past East College Street, according to a map detailing the project. According to traveler information on the MoDOT website, work on the project began on Friday, July 22 and is scheduled to continue through Wednesday, Sept. 28. Highway 160 and Route V will continue to remain open during the construction, but travelers may experience delays while the work continues. Crews will work on the project around the clock on weekdays.
