The third annual Priebe Strong 1062 run took place at the Republic Community Center on Saturday, Oct. 22. A total of 201 runners took part in the event, which included a half-marathon, a 10K, a 5K and a virtual run/walk. A portion of the funds raised in this year's run went to benefit Robert Bridges, a Springfield/Greene County park ranger who was shot six times while assisting officers with the Springfield Police Department. The event also raised funds for the newly started Priebe Strong Foundation, the Republic Community Foundation and scholarships.
