PATTY CARTRIGHT

Patty Cartright, 77, of Marionville, passed away Nov. 4, 2022. She was born on July 27, 1945, in Santa Rosa, Calif. to Ralph and Sylvia (Neely) Ogle; the second of four children in the home.
She graduated from high school in 1964 and on Feb. 15, 1964, she married Franklin G. Cartright. This union had one daughter, Resa.
Cartright started her career in administration with Empire Gas, then she worked for many years at Rowen Electric and finally ended her career with State Farm in Republic. She also sold Avon. She was awarded the top salesperson award for her region.
Cartright was preceded in death by husband Franklin; brothers Ronnie and Gary Ogle; and a granddaughter.
Cartright is survived by daughter Resa Trader and husband Darren; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister Marsha Coram as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
A visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, Nov. 10, at Alpha Baptist Church (Southeast 70th St., Laredo). Funeral services will follow at noon with burial in Alpha Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alpha Cemetery.
