It was a packed house on the Ash Grove MFA grounds Saturday morning where hundreds of people and animals turned out for the 37th annual Ash Grove Youth Fair. According to superintendent Robbie Todd, there were 111 swine entries and 53 exhibitors; followed by the sheep show which had 42 head---doubling last year’s participation--- and 19 exhibitors; 23 goats by seven exhibitors; 44 birds in the poultry show with nine exhibitors and 95 heads of cattle shown by 45 exhibitors. “What a beautiful day Saturday, May 27, was for our 37 Ash Grove Youth Fair,” Todd said “We could not put this show on without our great sponsors and a great fair board. Most of all the Ash Grove FFA officers and one of the best ag advisers Mr. Isakson. Those kids worked the day before setting up and work all day of the fair. We are thankful to MFA for letting us use their facilities.”
