KERRY LANE PENDLETON

Kerry Lane Pendleton, 38, of Mt. Vernon passed away on Saturday, July 29, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield. She was born Jan. 24, 1985, in Springfield, the daughter of Terry and Pam (Wingard) Kimrey.
She was a 2005 graduate of Republic High School, and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Lawrence County Manor, in Mt. Vernon. She was a member of the Mt. Vernon Eagles Club.
On May 11, 2019, she married Jeremy Pendleton in Mt. Vernon.
She is survived by her husband, Jeremy; two stepsons, Austin and Mason Pendleton, of Mt. Vernon; her mother, Pam Cook, of Summerfield, Fla.; her father, Terry Kimrey of Cabool; four siblings, Dustin (Alissa) Kimrey and Kayla (Josh) Justis, all of Willard, Keisha Kimrey of Wentzville, and Dusty Jones of Houston; mother-in-law, Wileen Pendleton of Mt. Vernon; paternal grandfather, Perry Kimrey of Roby; maternal grandfather, Lamar Wingard of Summerfield, Fla.; sister-in-law, Marchell Cross of Ft. Worth, Texas; brother-in-law, Randall (Beverly) Pendleton of Mt. Vernon; special aunt, Margaret Crews of Bois D’Arc; 10 nieces and nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Jeanette Kelley; paternal grandmother, Neoma Kimrey and father-in-law, Randy Pendleton.
A visitation was held on Thursday, Aug. 3, at Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, with a funeral service to follow in funeral home chapel. Burial followed at the Summit Cemetery northeast of Mt. Vernon.
