WILMA NADINE DAVIS

Wilma Nadine Davis, 88, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023, after battling several chronic illnesses. She was born on January 13, 1935, the daughter of Richard and Laura Kellough  in Lawrenceburg.
She graduated from Bois D’Arc High School as valedictorian in May of 1953. She then married Allen J. Davis on Feb. 20, 1954. She accepted Jesus as her Savior in 1973 at Westside Christian Church in Republic and was also active in the Westside Christian Church Ladies Sewing Circle for many years.
She is survived by her two sons, Tommy Davis of Springfield and Melvin Davis and his wife of Republic; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; close family friend, Lela Davis of Republic; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen; her parents; her brother, Howard Kellough; and two sisters, Cuna Marie Kellough and Naomi Ruth Davis.
A Visitation was held on Thursday, Oct. 12, at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic. A graveside service was held on Friday Oct.13, at Evergreen Cemetery in Republic.
