JERRY ALAN ORPIN

Jerry Alan Orpin, 89, passed away on March 24, 2024, in Springfield. He was born  on May 2, 1934, in Los Angeles, Calif. to Robert Michael and Eunice Valesca Orpin.
He served in the US Navy. and in 1960, married Deanna.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Deanna; son, David (Kathy) Orpin of Yuma, Ariz., daughters, Jeriann Orpin of Republic and Karen (Rob) Gibson of Lakeside, Calif.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by son, Craig and daughter-in-law, Vicki Orpin; his parents; step dad, William E. Dial; brother, Robert (Bob) Orpin; and sister, Betty Bissonette.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 30, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Clever.
Arrangements were entrusted to Meadors Funeral Home in Republic.
