SANDRA “SANDI” WILSON

Sandra “Sandi” Wilson, 79, of Republic passed away on April 10, 2024. She was born on June 4, 1944, in Dallas, Texas to Wilbur and Aline (Keen) Wemhaner; the oldest of six children in the home.
She graduated from Drury with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and worked for Cox Health in both Orthopedics and Med Surge for over 33 years.
She married Carlos Wilson on June 18, 1967, and together they had three children, Michale-Anne, Scott Franklin who passed at birth and Gregory.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Carlos, children Michale-Anne Mooneyham and husband Doug and Greg Wilson and wife Melanie, grandchildren Brock (Amy) Mooneyham, Tyler (Mara) Mooneyham, Ethan (Hayley) Mooneyham and Nathan and Claire Wilson, 6 great grandchildren, siblings Donnie Wemhaner, Lynda (Mike) Yartin, Dale (Pam) Wemhaner, Karen (Kenneth) Nelson and Mike Wemhaner as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son Scott Franklin Wilson.
A visitation is scheduled from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. inside the chapel in Rock Prairie Cemetery in Halltown on Friday, April 19.
