WAYNOLA BOURKE

Waynola Bourke, 86, of Walnut Grove passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. She was born on Oct. 27, 1937, in Lamar, to Rufus and Ida Esther (Sumpter) Carnagie.
On March 10, 1957, she married Herman Bourke. They shared 33 years together before he passed away in 1991.
She was a long time area resident. She was a member of Eudora Church of God and taught Sunday school. She worked and retired from Sweetheart, so she could be with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Dwaine (Lori) Bourke, Michael (Jeannie) Bourke; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his sister, Ruth Buchanon; beloved dog, Baxter; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.  
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman; her parents; six brothers; two sisters; two half-brothers; and two half-sisters.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, April 20, at Greene Lawn Cemetery in Walnut Grove.
Arrangements were entrusted to Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home in Walnut Grove.
