Phyllis JEAN “PJ” COBB

Phyllis Jean “PJ” Cobb, 73, passed away on Saturday May 18, 2024, at Cox hospital.  She was born on June 16, 1950, in Piggot, Ark. and at a young age, she and her sister were adopted by John and Lucy Deronda (Batson) Ricks.
She is survived by her husband, James E. Cobb; her mother, Lucy of Springfield; four children: Shawn (Dawn) Ricks of Niangua, Kathy Rohrer of Willard, Teri Cobb and Ron Stokes of Willard, and Jason Cobb also of Willard; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Ricks; sister, Jan; and nearly all her birth siblings.
As she requested, there will not be a memorial service, the family is planning a private celebration of life at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield.
