LOIS JEAN LACEY

Lois Jean Lacey, 82, of Republic passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024. She was born in on Dec. 18, 1941 in Sleeper; one of seven children born to John and Hazel Williams.
She married James Lacey.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist in Republic for over 40 years
She is survived by her children: William (“Beamer”) Beamenderfer, John (Karen) Beamenderfer and Mike (Carolyn) Beamenderfer; step-children: Mike (Pam) Lacey, Steven (Donna) Lacey, Brad (Midge) Duncan and Linn (Debbie) Duncan; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; a sister, Mildren Mack; her brothers Sonny (Sue) Pruitt and Danny (Linda) Pruitt; a brother-in-law, Robert “Uncle Bob” Harter; as well as other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James; sisters: Mabel Williams, Pat Angst, Linda Harter and Mary Stacy; brothers, William E. Williams Sr. and Robert Williams; an aunt, Ardith Williams; an uncle, Farrell Williams; and other beloved family members and friends.
Visitation and funeral services were held on Saturday, June 8, at Meador’s Funeral Home in Republic with Pastor Denny Marr officiating. She was laid to rest privately at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, alongside her husband, James.
