EDWARD WILLIAM DINGELDEIN

Edward William Dingeldein, 77, of Republic passed away June 4, 2024, in Springfield. He was born in Springfield on June 28, 1946, the son of Edward and Wilma Dingeldein.
He attended and graduated from Central High School in Springfield. After high school, he served in the Navy, then went to work at French’s Food Company for many years.
He married Verna Sue Everett on June 30, 1972 and they were married for almost 52 years.
He is survived by his wife, Verna; his son, Jason (Sarah) Dingeldein ; and his four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Carolyn Louise.
Visitation and funeral services were held on Thursday, June 13, at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home in Springfield; after which he was escorted to the Missouri Veterans Cemetery for burial by Warriors’ Watch Riders.
His arrangements have been entrusted to Walnut Lawn Funeral Home DeGraffenreid-Wood Crematory in Springfield.
