DONNA MAE AVANSINO

Donna Mae Avansino, 73, of Seligman passed away on Dec. 7, 2024. She was born in Compton, Calif. on June 4, 1951; the daughter of Leo and Patricia (Fuereborne) Tiede.
She graduated high school in El Paso, Texas and went on the study nursing at Duke University. She worked as a registered nurse for many years in various hospitals with her final years of employment at a hospital in Denver, Colo.
She met Ronnie Bohannon, and they shared five children together.
She is survived by her significant other of 12 years, Ronnie Bohannon; his three daughters: Rhonda (Jacob) Simmons, Amy (Derick) Conner and Stacie Watkins; her sons, Val (Vivian) Smith and Troy Akers: two brothers, Michael and Patrick Tiede; as well as numerous grandchildren and other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Karen Horn and Anna Reisinger.
Services were held on Friday, Dec. 13, at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic Burial followed in Kerr cemetery.
