Arvest Foundation generously donates $10,000 to Republic School District

The Arvest Foundation has donated $10,000 to Republic School District in Republic, to help fund a community room in its new indoor athletic facility.
The room will be able to seat up to 150 people and will be a space to host both school district and community events. The indoor athletic facility, located on the Republic High School campus, will also house dedicated classroom spaces for various activities and athletic programs along with flexible classroom spaces to extend current instructional programming. In addition, the building will also have a 65,000 square foot turf area for student use during and outside of the school day.
Penny Lacy, sales manager, EVP for Arvest Bank – Springfield Region; Mindy Thompson, branch administrator, VP; Ashley Riecke, business banker; and Jacob Hosp, mortgage loan officer, presented the check to Republic Schools Superintendent of Schools Dr. Matt Pearce and Assistant Superintendent of Operations Jason Perkins along with Republic High School Principal Dr. John Thompson.
“We are grateful for Arvest Bank’s continued support of Republic School District,” Pearce said. “This financial contribution is just one of many examples of their commitment to being a great partner and contributor to our district and the community at large.”
“We’re proud to present this grant to the Republic School District on behalf of the Arvest Foundation,” Lacy said. “We look forward to seeing the positive impact this shared space will have on both students and the community as a whole.”
