Ash Grove R-IV School District went to a four-day hybrid school week system starting in the 2025-2026 school year. The new system has had some encouraging side-effects on the student population.
The city of Ash Grove saw a continuation of its transportation tax passed by voters on Aug. 4. Ash Grove's transportation sales tax passed with a resounding 209 (75.2%) ballots marked yes. Only 69 votes against were counted.

Missouri’s August 4 primary election has come and passed, with Missourians turning down multiple large-scale, Republican-backed initiatives at the ballot box.
As the first day of school, Tuesday, Aug. 25, quickly approaches, the Ash Grove Board of Education, led by vice president Jordon Miller, made a slew of decisions regarding purchasing at the body's July 22 meeting.
